Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information PromptYourAI collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It is written to be read, not to hide behind legal language. If anything here is unclear, email support@promptyourai.com and we'll explain it plainly.
Who we are
PromptYourAI is operated by Prompt Your AI, an individual sole proprietor based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of data-protection law, we are the "data controller" for the information described here. You can reach us at support@promptyourai.com.
What we collect
We keep data collection deliberately minimal. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Your email address, if you choose to give it to us (for example, to receive a product, an update, or a reply to a support request).
- Purchase information, when you buy a product. Payments and checkout are handled by Gumroad, our payment and delivery provider. We do not see or store your full card details. We receive from Gumroad the information needed to fulfil and support your order, such as your email, the product purchased, and the transaction record.
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited and general device information, collected through Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
- Anything you send us, such as the contents of an email you write to support.
We do not ask for, and do not want, more than we need. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles about you on our own site.
Why we use it
- To deliver the product you bought and provide the download.
- To answer your questions and handle refund or support requests.
- To send you product updates or messages, only where you've agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand and improve how the site performs.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
The legal basis (for EU/UK visitors)
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on these lawful bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR: performance of a contract (to deliver a product you bought), consent (for marketing emails, which you can withdraw anytime), legitimate interests (to run and improve the site securely), and legal obligation (to keep tax and transaction records).
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that make the business run, and only as much as they need:
- Gumroad processes payments and delivers products. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Mailchimp, our email provider, if you're on our list, to send messages you've agreed to.
- Google Analytics, for the usage data described above.
- Authorities or advisors, where we're legally required to, or to protect our legal rights.
Some of these providers are based outside the UAE, EU, or UK, which means your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on those providers' own safeguards for such transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and transaction records for as long as needed to support your order and to meet tax and accounting requirements. We keep email-list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We don't keep personal data longer than we have a reason to.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you these rights explicitly, including the right to data portability and the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, email support@promptyourai.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, for analytics through Google Analytics, and, when we run ads, for a Meta pixel that measures whether an ad led to a purchase. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of ad-related tracking through your Meta and browser ad settings.
Children
This is a product for working professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
